Curve Games and IronOak Games recently released an exciting new trailer for the upcoming release of For The King 2, titled, The Resistance. The trailer showcases a number of new features heading to the game alongside an improved art style in the sequel to 2018’s epic For The King adventure as players once again return to a land in turmoil as new threats arise in the realm of Fahrul.
For The King 2 is a strategic, turn-based RPG that blends together roguelike elements with traditional tabletop RPG-style play, a combination that the original executed to near perfection. Alongside the introduction of new features, the trailer also shows support for up to four players at a time, whereas the original only allowed for three.

The Resistance trailer introduces a number of exciting elements to For The King 2. Vehicular travel, previously only available on boats and ships, will now be available on land as players group up and explore the world of Fahrul in Landboats. Building on the addition of an additional player, each player can now also find mercenaries and pets to bring along for the adventure.
As well as the introduction of new features, For The King’s popular Scourge system returns, a boss-like feature that challenges players to tackle difficult boss battles before a timer expires, imparting some huge negative effects over the world.
For The King 2 is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
