The final season of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 8, Operation Deep Freeze, will make its debut on November 28.
A new Defender to the title, Tubarão is able to stay cool-headed with his Zoto Canister gadget. This device releases a freezing compound that impairs the movement of Operators and gadgets alike. Note that its “cold zone” aftereffect records the footprint of any Operators that may pass through. Tubarão is a two speed and two health Operator, carrying a loadout with either an MPX or AR-15.50 as his primary weapon and a P226 MK 25 as his secondary.
Also coming to Operation Deep Freeze is the Ranked map Lair. The base of operations for Deimos, Lair encourages playstyle experimentation as players navigate its multiple entrances and three floors.
A Reputation System update has also been made to Rainbow Six Siege, providing additional information on what impacts player standing. There is also the Grace Period phase, which onboards players, has them learn more about player standing, and then given the chance to improve standing without any penalties before the full launch of the Reputation System.
