First thing’s first: You’ll need to grab an axe and go to some bushes. Since there’s no sickle, you’ll just need to start chopping them for Vines. It takes 5 Vines to get 1 Cord.
You can get vines by picking pumpkins and raspberries, but it’s a lot easier to cut down the bushes and get 2, 3, or even 4 Vines at a time instead.
Once you’ve got the Vines, go back to your base and go to the Spinning Wheel. Put your Vines in there, make yourself some Cord, and wait until it is done.

The best way to get Vines is by chopping bushes; you can get up to 4 at a time.
