Running from January 19 to March 1, the Luck & Lanterns Celebration will make its way to Sunblink and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
As part of the Luck & Lanterns Festival in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players will be able to gather dragon pearls. These can then be exchanged for rewards like furniture and clothing that channel Lunar New Year-inspired fun.

Note that Update 1.4 to Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available now. One of the key new features and content include the ability to change the look of certain pieces of furniture. In addition, from now through January 19, players will be able to collect wintery variations of popular outfits through the daily rewards calendar.
Finally, this update brings with it a new Main Story Chapter to the game. In it, the Spirit of Friendship Island has been left alone too long, tasking players with healing her heal from her old hurt. In order to do so, players will need to remind her of all the wonderful forms friendship can take. Big Challenges are especially impatient to help the Island Spirit, so players will need to keep him occupied with Badtz-maru, Pompompurin, and other denizens.
