Wondering how you can watch a replay of Game 1 of the 2023 State of Origin after it’s over? Never fear: The Roar has you covered with our guide to watching State of Origin replays on your TV or your preferred streaming device.
Whether work, family, friends or anything else under the sun gets in the way of you watching the match live, you will have a host of options to catch a replay.
How to watch State of Origin replays online
You have two main options if your plan is to watch an Origin replay on your preferred streaming device.
Probably your best bet for catching up on all the action is through Kayo Sports. They won’t be showing the game live, but a replay is scheduled to be available at 11pm (AEST). They will also be using a Fox League commentary stream of the match, so if you prefer their coverage to Channel Nine’s, that’s the platform for you.
A Kayo subscription will set you back a minimum of $25 a month, but first-time users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial.
Another option is to stream the match through 9Now – Channel Nine’s official online streaming platform. They will be providing a replay of the Nine feed of the match once it is over.
You will need to make a free 9Now account to access the replay, though. Once you do that, you will be able to stream every Origin match going back to 2018.
How to watch State of Origin replays on TV
Despite holding the broadcast rights, Nine will not be televising Origin replays on their traditional broadcast channels. Your only option for catching all the action on your TV is through Fox League, who will be showing a stack of replays as soon as Nine wrap up their coverage.
Check out the Foxtel TV guide for specific times and dates of match replays – you will need to be a Foxtel subscriber to access them.
