Track Premiere: Horse Butcher – ‘Penduncular Hallucinosis’

Let us introduce you to recently-spawned deathgrind entity Horse Butcher. Formed by members of Hissing and wearing their love for Pissgrave, early Carcass and Agothacles on their sleeve, their self-titled EP is a celebration of gory and savage extreme music, as dense as it is aggressive. The latest to come from Horse Butcher is “Penduncular Hallucinosis,” which you can listen to below.

“Penduncular Hallucinosis is a neurological phenomenon that causes vivid visual hallucinations that typically occur in dark environments, usually caused by brain infection or tumors,” Horse Butcher tell Decibel. “Most of the songs on this record are about either psychological and physical pathology, and most of them are about the relationship between the two. One of the songs (not this one) is about butchering livestock, hence the name. Humans are animals, animals are meat, humans are meat. Interpret that however you’d like. We just wanted to write some nasty-sounding shit and have the subject matter match. So here you go.”

Horse Butcher will release their EP on December 20 via Sentient Ruin.
