Video Premiere: The Curse Within – “Through Inferno”

We’re gonna go ahead and skip trying to describe the brand new video from Toronto melodic death metal trio, The Curse Within. Let’s just say that the over-the-top visuals that accompany the band’s latest single, “Through Inferno,” are both hilarious and graphic. There are cats (“General Whiskers”), demons, carnage, lots of cheap beer and the band—Eric Favot (lead vocals/guitar), Andres Carpio (guitar/vocals), Matt Schumacher (bass)—battling the forces of evil, video game-style, while riding in “The F*ck Truck.” Oh yeah, theres’s also a killer song accompanying it, a full-throttle, good cop-bad cop rager with all the usual heaviness and guitar harmonies, accompanied by a strong chorus. It’s a good match for the insane video.

“Through Inferno” is currently streaming on all digital platforms, and you can purchase it and other The Curse Within tracks here.

This is what the band had to say about its new video:

“‘Through Inferno’ is a fast-paced melodic metal headbanger with big riffs, heavy drums and catchy hooks. It encompasses everything about The Curse Within’s sound in 2025. The music video is an over-the-top action/comedy that follows the band on our mission to save the planet from a demonic alien apocalypse. Think the A-Team meets South Park. Chaos ensues, things are blown up, and brotherhood prevails.”
