Announced during the State of Play segment earlier today, Gearbox and 2K Games’ mayhem-fueled looter shooter Borderlands 4 is set to release later this year on September 23.
Borderlands 4 prides itself on having billions of weapons, outrageous enemies, and intense co-op action.
On that note, this release will task players with exploring a dangerous hidden planet Kairos as one of four new “badass” (they sure do love that word) Vault Hunters.
Variety is the spice of life in Borderlands 4, giving players the chance to fight solo or in co-op with up to three other players.
No matter what posse one chooses, Borderlands 4 features free-form combat and exploration, pulse-pounding boss fights, infinitely varied loot drops, and an eclectic cast of characters.
