Cronela’s Mansion Surpasses 50% of Funding Goal in One Week

An 8-bit love letter to Maniac Mansion, Straynus’ Cronela’s Mansion has already surpassed 50% of its $128,802 funding goal in the first week on Kickstarter.

Straynus said the following regarding its success:

“We have reached more than 50% of our goal in just one week.

There is still a way to go, but I couldn’t be happier to see all the support from people, in addition to all the positive words from those who have played the classic demos on their old televisions. I couldn’t be more excited and grateful.”

A throwback to the classic SCUMM adventures of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, Cronela’s Mansion provides an open-world where players roam the mysterious Rodsem Land and its mansion. 

Along the way, players will set out to solve puzzles, engage with colorful characters (via a dynamic dialogue system), and unravel the estate’s dark secrets across more than 50 rooms.
