X-COM Creator’s Action Strategy Game Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids Part of Steam Next Fest

A new action-packed strategy title from X-COM creator Julian Gollup, Arc Games and Snapshot Games announced that Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will be part of Steam Next Fest.

Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids sets out to combine third-person action with real-time strategy (RTS) gameplay in a colorful, comic book-style world.

As the titular Chip and Clawz, players will set out to gather resources and collectibles, build bases, strengthen hero abilities, and command minions as they take on the (also titular) Brainioids.

Julian Gollop, CEO of Snapshot Games, said the following:

“At Snapshot Games, we recognize how much players really enjoy challenging real time strategy games but from our experience, we know that some players like a strategy game that’s easier to pick up and play, that’s a bit more action-packed and that’s fun to play with friends.

With Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, we set out to create a dynamic and accessible action RTS experience that players can dive into together. We can’t wait for players to jump into the action, meet the game’s unique characters and enjoy the heroic adventures that await – starting with the demo in just a couple of days!”

Happening from February 24 to March 3, the first-ever demo of Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will be available via its official Steam page.

The full release of Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will come out for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, complete with cross-platform play at launch.
