Throne and Liberty Interview: Amazon Games Talks Wilds of Talandre Expansion

Gamers Heroes

First off, we just can’t get enough of Throne and Liberty’s Gigantrite whale! With the Winds of Talandre expansion, what new events are currently on the horizon that you can share?

Daniel Lafuente

I love the whale too! It’s one of the first things that drew me into Throne and Liberty. You might want to keep an eye out for some mini whales in Talandre! The Wilds of Talandre brings so much exciting new content that it’s difficult to highlight just one thing, but personally, I’m most thrilled about the new Dominion Mode for Field bosses. It represents a significant evolution in how players can engage with these epic encounters.

Gamers Heroes

One of our favorite parts of Throne and Liberty comes with its guild content. What can you tell us about new guild content coming to Wilds of Talandre – will there be a new Guild Hall location?

Daniel Lafuente

While Talandre doesn’t introduce a new guild hall, it does bring four exciting new world bosses for guilds to conquer! These bosses can be accessed through the Guild Raids menu in your existing guild hall, creating fresh challenges for coordinated teams. I’m particularly excited about our new GvG mode for Field bosses and the unique encounters within Nebula Island, where part of your team battles the boss while others defend the entry portal. These mechanics create dynamic new strategic opportunities for guilds of all sizes.

Gamers Heroes

One of the new editions coming to Throne and Liberty is the PvP Nebula Island. How big would you say Nebula Island is – around the size of Saurodoma Island, or bigger/smaller?

Daniel Lafuente

Nebula Island is significantly larger than Saurodoma Island, featuring five distinct zones – four in perpetual PvP and one in Peace mode. The island offers extensive territory to explore, but it’s deliberately sized to ensure exciting player encounters. You’ll have plenty of space to develop strategies, but you’ll definitely need to battle against other players to secure the most valuable loot!

Gamers Heroes

Throne and Liberty’s weapon mastery revamp is going to give players new skills and combos. What can you tell us about changes to the meta, if any?

Daniel Lafuente

The expanded Weapon Mastery system represents a major evolution in character customization. Players can now specialize across four distinct segments: Attack, Defense, Support, and Tactics, each featuring unique passive abilities and powerful epic nodes. We’ve also revamped experience distribution to give players more control and introduced passive abilities that scale with your total mastery across all weapons. While there’s plenty of speculation about emerging metas, I believe we’ll see unique build strategies develop organically once players begin experimenting with the vastly expanded customization options. The system’s flexibility means players can truly create builds that truly reflect their preferred playstyle.

Gamers Heroes

Winds of Talandre’s new Artifact System sounds like a great addition to Throne and Liberty – will this be more of an end-game system, or will players get the chance to play with it early on in the expansion?

Daniel Lafuente

Excellent question! The Artifact System becomes available early in your Talandre journey. What makes it particularly engaging is its own internal progression path – players will start acquiring artifacts shortly after reaching the new region and continue finding stronger variants throughout their adventures. This creates an engaging power curve that evolves alongside your character’s development in Talandre.

These have all been such great questions. Thank you! Wilds of Talandre is a huge new addition to the world of Solisium and we’re so excited for everyone to finally get a chance to experience it! See you in game on March 6th!
