A massive new update, the world of Infogrames and Sand Castles Studios’ co-op penguin platformer Bread & Fred is getting that much bigger with today’s release of the Laboratory Update.
The Laboratory Update for Bread & Fred sets out to double this title’s content. On that note, a new 666-meter map filled with new mechanics that feature Electronic Platforms, Impulse Platforms, and Rotating Platforms.
NPCs and lore has also been added, alongside several new puzzle rooms and secret capybaras to discover throughout five different rooms.

Bread & Fred is currently available for 35% off on both the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, marking it down to $9.74 until March 14.
Note that Bread & Fred will also make its way to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this spring.
