Announced at ANIME JAPAN 2025, the team at Com2uS has announced that a game adaptation of the upcoming Japanese TV anime TOUGEN ANKI is now in development.
Slated to air in the second half of 2025, TOUGEN ANKI: Legend of the Cursed Blood (written by Yura Urushibara) is currently serialized in AKITASHOTEN’s Weekly Shōnen Champion. The series is based on the Japanese folktale Momotaro, which depicts the conflict between those who inherit the blood of Oni (demons) and Momotaro.
When it comes to the game release of TOUGEN ANKI, the title will pay host to advanced 3D modeling and cutting-edge technology. This RPG is being designed to faithfully recreate the anime’s art style and aesthetic, while optimizing the experience for a global audience.
