Just in time for the release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The SNK World Championship (SWC) 2025 eSports tournament has been announced – with a total prize pool of $2,500,000!
The SNK World Championship 2025 will have players vying for the top spot of the SNK fighting game world – “the king of fighters,” if you will (sorry, too easy).
Note that Qualifying Tournaments will be held in various regions worldwide, culminating in a Finals Tournament held in the USA near the end of 2025.
In addition to the qualifiers currently underway for The King of Fighters XV and Samurai Shodown, this year’s tournament will feature Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a main title!
Note that the combined total prize pool for all City of the Wolves tournaments (Qualifying and Finals) is over $2,500,000, and the grand prize for the champion is $1,500,000.
More information about prizing and qualifier schedules will be released at a later date.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is coming out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) on April 24, 2025.
