Choose your own adventure meets point and click meets platformer with the upcoming release of NikkiJay’s narrative-driven story “PLOTformer” Quantum Witch June 24.
After a portal to another dimension has appeared in the woods of Hus, players will take control of twenty-something shepardess Ren.
From there, she’ll get thrown into a multiversal conflict while settingout on a fetch quest to find her lost flock. The fates of her friends in her hands, and players will have to help her make the difficult choices – all of which matter.
Along the way, Quantum Witch will have players crossing paths with the queer scientist Lev, who packs a penchant for coffee, and The Skeleton Who Can See Through Time.
Solo developer NikkiJay describes that as someone who:
“Takes the concept of gender, puts it in a blender, smooshes it up, adds a bit of mint for garnish, and then pours it all away because they don’t need one.”
