The team at Bandai Namco, together with A24, announced their collaboration with writer and director Alex Garland for a live-action film adaptation of FromSoftware’s award-winning Elden Ring.
Released in 2022, Elden Ring was created under the guidance of FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki, providing an open-world adventure based on a mythological story written by George R. R. Martin (author of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series).
Bringing the grand world and intense action of Elden Ring to film, this project is being led by filmmaker Alex Garland (known for Ex Machina and Civil War) as both writer and director.
Note the film will be produced by Peter Rice, alongside Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich from DNA Films, and George R. R. Martin and Vince Gerardis.
