Summer is here – time to get hunting! On that note, Niantic has announced that the latest season of Monster Hunter Now — Season 6: Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam – is now live.
As part of this update to Monster Hunter Now, select monsters will appear as riftborne monsters. Appearing at 8★ and above, they are a good deal stronger than usual. At launch, Riftborne monsters include Rathian, Tobi-Kadachi, and Barroth, with more introduced in the future.
Meanwhile, style customization gives players the chance to upgrade weapons even further, allowing one to boost the stats of grade 8 or higher weapons. Changing the style of one’s weapon will also allow one to alter the actions of each weapon type.
When it comes to new monsters, Monster Hunter Now players can take on Nargacuga, as well as Beotodus, Bishaten and Great Wroggi.
Finally, the hunting horn in Monster Hunter Now boosts both one’s self and one’s allies while hunting. While attacking, one accumulates notes, and by aligning the notes in a specific order, one can trigger various melody effects.
