Track Premiere: Carnage Inc – ‘Epik’

Indian thrash outfit Carnage Inc released their debut album in 2019 and they’ve been relatively quiet since then but the gap will close next month when their self-titled EP comes out. Released independently through the band, Carnage Inc features five tracks of ’80s worship delivered in enthusiastic fashion.

To get an early peek at the EP, Carnage Inc are streaming “Epik,” the opening track.

“‘Epik’ is the opening statement of our third EP and the most feral piece we’ve written so far,” Carnage Inc tell Decibel. “Built on relentless thrash foundations with nods to classic heavy metal melody, the track is a rager from start to finish.

“Lyrically, ‘Epik’ dives into the mania of excess, rage, and distorted self-power, the intoxication of becoming larger than life, even monstrous, through destruction. It channels that moment where confidence tips into madness, where the scream becomes a weapon, and reality twists into a delirium of noise and violence.

For us, ‘Epik’ is both a wail and a descent, the perfect gateway into the carnage that defines this record.”

If you dig what you hear, Carnage Inc’s last album is on Bandcamp.
