A new Hunt awaits – Season 7 of Capcom and Niantic’s Monster Hunter Now – dubbed Advent of the Exploration Base – is now live.
This new season of Monster Hunter Now brings with it fearsome new monsters, new ways to customize weapons, and the Exploration Base feature.
Catch up on the highlights below:
Exploration Bases – OFFICIAL LAUNCH
After successful beta testing, exploration bases are officially launching in Monster Hunter Now.
For those not in the know, an exploration base is a local landmark that Hunters within the area can work together to develop.
Within each three-week Wave, nearby hunters will be able to cooperate by submitting Exploration Emblems through exploration reports to help grow their base.
Additional Monsters
Monster Hunter Now players can now take on Espinas, Garangolm and Lunagaron.
In addition, Riftborne Deviljho is set to arrive September 22, and Deviljho weapons will now be eligible for style customization.
Style Customization Update
Originally introduced in Season 6, Monster Hunter Now’s style customization is receiving a major upgrade in Season 7.
The parameters that increase with each level of style customization will be raised, allowing customizable weapons to reach the max strength of currently available equipment.
Weapons that have been sufficiently customized will also gain a special effect.
New Skills
The new season of Monster Hunter Now brings with it six new skills to master, which can be added to the armor of Espinas, Garangolm and Lunagaron. These include Pursuit, Ballistics, Reckless, Defender, Vital Fire and Vital Ice.
Easier to Find Your Desired Monsters
A new feature in Monster Hunter Now, players can now select monster groups, changing which monsters appear in the field.
This, in turn, makes it much easier for players to find the ones they want to hunt.
Reduced Material Requirements for Weapons
Starting in Monster Hunter Now Season 7, the amount of materials required to forge and upgrade most weapons will be reduced.
This, in turn, will serve as a great opportunity to forge and upgrade weapons hunters haven’t tried before.
Monster Hunter Now can be downloaded via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
