Vol. 6 of The Grind has been released, providing a number of key highlights coming to the world of EA and Full Circle’s skate.

Now available via the official EA page, The Grind features a wealth of information around skate. Since its Early Access launch on September 16.

For the data nerds among us, the team revealed the following figures for skate. since launch:

+181 million Kickflips

+134 Million Ollies

+20 Million Laserflips

+300K Rocket Airs

+81k Japan Airs

+175K Fake Steez Gesture used

The team mentioned that they will evolve skate.’s visuals, making lighting adjustments aimed to create a more grounded and less high-contrast look. 

In addition, Season 1 of skate. will bring regular updates to the titles, complete with fresh content and seasonal events. Highlights include new skateable areas, events like Skate-o-ween and Maple Harvest, challenges, new brand partners like Santa Cruz, Independent and Creature, and additional cosmetics.

The team also revealed the skate.Pass. Releasing alongside Season 1, players will be able to earn in-game Seasonal currency (Tix) by playing to unlock pages that are filled with rewards. Over 80 rewards will be split between Free and Premium tracks, with free rewards available to all players without the Premium pass.
