The First Descendant Swords Weapon Class Update Live

The way of the blade awaits players with the inclusion of the brand-new ‘Swords’ weapon class to NEXON’s The First Descendant.

Now available in The First Descendant, Swords have been introduced as a new weapon class.

On that note, the unique swords Shadow and Deus Ex Manus will also make their way to The First Descendant. Each one brings its own special ability (such as Shadow Slash), offering defensive mechanics that differ from firearms. 

This update for The First Descendant lets players further enhance these weapons with exclusive sword modules and External Components, designed to strengthen melee combat builds.

Outside these Swords, The First Descendant players can also check out the new Void Vessel dungeon, the Medium-Sized Facility Zone (featuring unique boss mechanics) and Hover Bike racing sections in both Normal and Hard difficulty levels.

The First Descendant is available for the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X|S, and the PC via Steam.
