Roman hardcore band Feldspar are back with a new single and video “Pasta Day,” out October 16 (World Food Day, incidentally) via Time To Kill Records. Check out the video below before it drops everywhere else.
Produced by Nick Terry (Turbonegro, The Libertines, Stone Roses, Peaches) and recorded at Black Water Studios, the song follows their 2024 album Old City New Ruins, featuring their signature hardcore, spoken-word flair, and hooks.
“At first glance, pasta is just food,” their press release explains. “But Feldspar turn it into a symbol: of sharing, care, and inclusion. ‘Pasta Day’ transforms this everyday ritual into an anthem of protest—one that highlights the quiet, informal acts of solidarity between peers and the crucial role of organized, structural support for those left behind in modern cities.”
Pretty deep stuff for pasta.
The video was directed by Roberto “Saku” Cinardi, one of Italy’s most acclaimed music video creators.
