After you complete the introductory Companion Quest for Inez, you can choose which arm you have grafted onto her. You can either choose the Crabble Graft or the Raptidon Graft. In this guide, we’ll tell you what happens so you know which to choose.
After you find both parts, you will need to speak with Inez and then make the choice during the conversation with her. It’s important to note that once this choice is made, it cannot be undone.
If You Choose Crabble Graft
The Crabble Graft changes one of Inez’s skills at level 15. With the Crabble Graft she gains one of the two following upgrades:
Lethal Graft Research
Her first shot with her ability leaves a pool of plasma that deals damage to enemies in the area.
Medical Graft Research
She drops a cannister of healing mist at her position whenever she uses her Companion Ability, healing any friendlies that stand in the mist.
If You Choose Raptidon Graft
The Raptidon Graft works in a similar fashion to the Crabble Graft. At level 15, Inez can choose one of two skills that have been influenced by the graft choice.
Lethal Graft Research
Inez’s healing mist ability has additional effects. It increases accuracy and damage for party members in the area of the healing mist.
Medical Graft Research
This upgrade changes Inez’s healing ability. Once players stand in the healing mist, it clings to their character, continuing to heal them even outside of the initial area.
Both graft options are useful; there is no right or wrong answer. Simply pick the strategy that works well for your play style and preferred companions. I went for the Raptidon upgrade, simply because more damage doesn’t matter if you’re dead.
