Apparently, Rottenness, those pustulating pendejos of death metal’s pulsing pile, can’t and won’t stop, so we here at Decibel feel equally as compelled to keep you abreast of their doings and transpirings. Just like we’ve been doing so almost since this website was a thing. This time the band are sporting a proverbial package deal: a tour here and abroad in support of a split EP designed for the occasion and featuring themselves and their new best buddies in Arizona death thrashers, Saintbreaker. Following an update from Rottenness vocalist Matti Guey, check out the EP stream, tour dates/posters, links and other goodies.
“Prepare your mind for brutality and plenty of blast beats and mosh riffs! Rottenness is teaming up with Saintbreaker for a brand new split EP to kick off their tour of Japan in November 2025. Obliteration Records, a legendary Japanese label that has released music from bands such as Coffins, Visceral Infest, Butcher ABC and many more, will be releasing the album for streaming on October 30th, with an exclusive run of CDs being printed for the tour. Each band also has recorded a cover song for this release, with Saintbreaker delivering a fiery thrash-grind rendition of ‘Fight Fire With Fire’ by Metallica and Rottenness gurgling out a chunky rendition of “Kill for Weed” by Cephalic Carnage. Thanks to all the friends and fans for their support, and we look forward to seeing you out on the road! Vamonos cabrones!!
