Happening from November 21-23 this weekend, game music label Scarlet Moon will host two separate music-related panels at San Diego Anime Con 2025.
An all-inclusive three-day anime convention, San Diego Anime Con celebrates all facets of the anime and pop culture community with special guests, panels, workshops, vendors, a game room, and more.
Scarlet Moon Founder Jayson Napolitano and Composer Dale North will both appear at the event for the first time, hosting two panels on Sunday, November 23:
Name That Tune: Anime Edition will have the audience guessing the source of songs selected by the Scarlet Moon team for a chance to win prizes from their label catalog.
Meanwhile, The Best Anime Soundtracks of 2025 will focus on music from the 2025 season and the composers behind it – many of whom have also worked in videogames!

Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano said the following:
“Many don’t know this, but San Diego is the eighth-biggest city in the United States.
For this reason, it always baffles my mind as to why there aren’t more videogame and videogame adjacent events here.
We want to get more involved with events like San Diego Anime Con and are looking forward to getting a lay of the land, sharing our love for music, and seeing if we can do even more next year.
