Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, Canada-based band Discovery Through Torment are dropping their new EP, Telesynthetic Rebirth. Check it out now ahead of its official December 5 release date.
Since their debut, Divine in Blood (2020) and the acclaimed follow-up The Mangled God (2022), the band have evolved into a sharpened five-piece lineup, now fronted by vocalist Alex Desroches. With Telesynthetic Rebirth, they deliver a bold new chapter defined by narrative-driven lyrics, cinematic scope, and relentless aggression.
“On this EP, we took the time to experiment a lot and find the right balance between sounding fresh and staying true to our sound. It’s very dark and heavy, with sci-fi atmospheres and plenty of surprises. We are very proud of this one; it hits HARD,” say the band.
