Ringing in the weekend, Super Creative and Smilegate’s Chaos Zero Nightmare has released Chapter 2 of Forbidden Catalyst, along with Season 1 of the story-based seasonal content “Galactic Disaster.”
Chapter 2 follows the story follows the protagonists as they pursue “Kaguya Pharmaceutical” to recover the stolen “Primonium.”
Players will be able to take on the “Great Rift” content, which serves as a ranking mode where players compete based on the total damage dealt to the boss. Also included is various in-game currency and limited-edition decorations, which are rewarded based on top records and rank.
The Galactic Disaster-exclusive reward shop also now includes the “Omega Code” material, which is used for Ego Manifestation (Transcendence) for all Combatants.
Forbidden Catalyst key characters “Chizuru” and “Itsuku” have been added as a new Combatant and Partner, respectively.
Chizuru is a 5-star Void attribute Psionic Combatant, packing the exclusive skill “Cursed Shackles.” This skill allows her to obtain powerful upgrade cards, including the “Bound At Dusk” card that can reduce card-use costs, easing the burden of resource management.
Kim Joo Hyung, Head of Business at Smilegate, stated the following:
“Along with the new Galactic Disaster story and content, we are also working on various improvements to the game.
In particular, we are continuously exploring ways to strengthen player bonding with characters and reduce the burden of progression.”
Chaos Zero Nightmare is now available for the PC alongside mobile devices (via both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store).
