Featuring a tale of death and rebirth, Halberd Studios’ combat-focused MetroidVania Mariachi Legends is set to release for PC and consoles in 2026.
Serving as a brutal, pixel-art love letter to the original PlayStation- and Nintendo DS-era Castlevania games (ie. Portrait of Ruin), Mariachi Legends brings the signature Symphony of the Night formula to Mexico.
A new trailer for Mariachi Legends recently made its debut, features a stirring rendition of “La Llorona,” interpreted by renowned Mexican Singer and Professional Voice Actress Yatzil Aguirre.
