A longtime indie developer known for hits like Steven Universe: Save the Light and Castle Doombad, Grumpyface Studios has announced their first official publishing venture to relaunch hidden gem Seafrog.
Partnering with indie developer Oh My Me Games, Grumpyface Studio will relaunch their debut title Seafrog.
This vibrant 2.5D skateboarding-platformer was previously awarded the Grand Prize at IGN’s 2022 Rogue Jam by a panel featuring industry icons Reggie Fils-Aimé and Matt Casamassina.

Originally released on Steam earlier this year, Seafrog has since earned enthusiastic praise from players, albeit with low visibility due to limited marketing reach.
Chris Graham, Founder and Director at Grumpyface, said the following:
“Our team has always loved making games, but just as rewarding has been growing our network of talented developer friends and cheering on their passion projects over the years.
Along the way, we’ve seen too many exceptional indie games get overlooked as the market grows increasingly crowded.
That’s what inspired our foray into publishing: to lift up hidden gems like Seafrog and help introduce them to the wider audiences we know will love them as much as we do.”
Tyler Maitland, Director of Oh My Me Games, also said the following:
“Seafrog is a labor of love, and we’re thrilled for it to find a new home with our friends at Grumpyface.
It’s energizing to navigate the publishing process with like-minded developers, knowing we’re fully aligned in our goals and all have each other’s backs.”
This partnership launches with a major new 2.0 update starting today on Steam, along with the reveal of a Seafrog Nintendo Switch version for Q1 2026.
One can find Seafrog via its official Steam page.
