JMP Entertainment has revealed a special performance of their symphonic game music concert tour Heroes: A Video Game Symphony in Toronto on September 17, featuring a special appearance by Acclaimed Composer Akira Yamaoka.
Known for his work on the Silent Hill series, the Contra series, and Snatcher, Akira Yamaoka wil attend the show and participate in a special VIP meet and greet with fans.
Attendees are encouraged to show up in their favorite cosplay!
JMP Entertainment’s Jason Michael Paul said the following:
“It’s an honor to have Akira Yamaoka at our upcoming performance on Toronto, Canada.
Yamaoka-san and I go way back to the 2006 debut of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony that was his first stateside appearance.
His rockstar charisma was undeniable with his signature snakeskin pants, and we’re looking forward to creating a special moment for fans given his recent work on SILENT HILL f.”
Akira Yamaoka also commented:
“I’m looking forward to seeing everyone during the Heroes meet and greet and from the stage in Toronto next September.
