Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Updates Released

During the recent December Monster Hunter Showcase, Capcom and Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed additional information around both Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.

When it comes to Monster Hunter Wilds, Hunters can expect the return of Gogmazios, with materials from this monster allowing players to upgrade rarity 8 Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons.

Starting on December 24, players can kick off Christmas Eve in style with srch-tempered Jin Dahaad appearing as a permanent Event Quest. Hunters will then be rewarded with materials for a powerful Gamma armor set. 

A number of new Optional Quests are also set to arrive in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4, letting players test their skills against multiple 9★ monsters to earn special Nameplate rewards. New Hunting Exercises (optional quests)  are also set to provide a great way to practice fighting against tempered 9★ monsters.

Keeping the festivities going, on December 19 the Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn is set to arrive with festive décor and meals at the Grand Hub. Hunters can also gain the ability to earn special equipment, gestures, and decorations.

Finally, Monster Hunter Wilds will receive a Steam-specific stability patch in January that has been, designed to offer additional optimization options, pre-sets, and improvements.

When it comes to Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, players will be able to take on the duties of the courageous Ranger Corps as they set out to safeguard the future of the natural ecosystem.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will also let players utilize its Dual-Element system. With this system in place, a monster can acquire the elemental attributes of the area it hatched from, gaining new element-based skills and visual traits.

For longtime fans, Arkveld, the powerful flagship monster from Monster Hunter Wilds, is set to make an appearance in Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
