Track Premiere: Forcefed Horsehead – “The Will of the Many”

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s time to start your Best of 2026 list, as we’re starting to peer into early new year releases. To that end we’re premiering a furious crusher, “The Will of the Many” from Oslo quintet Forcefed Horsehead, who will be sharing a split EP, From Horrid to Worse, with Shaving the Werewolf. We’re only giving you a taste of the FFHH side with “Will,” but there’s plenty of prime grindy crust packed into three-plus minutes to whet your appetite for what’s to come. These Norwegians—Audun Mehl (vocals), Patrick Wivegh (guitar), Rikard Jonsson (guitar), Arve Barsnes (bass), Kikken Vegsund (drums)—unleash a raw, hardcore-driven d-beat fest that strangles, maims, gnashes and generally causes mayhem and destruction. Definitely something to look forward to in 2026!

From Horrid to Worse is set for release on multiple physical formats (TBD) and digitally on February 13.

The band describes the track as such:

“‘The Will of the Many’ is about apathy in numbers and how greed and egoism plays a destructive and pivotal role in causing a very bleak future. By doing nothing we collectively cause great disruption and chaos. Wealth and comfort weighs heavier than equality and justice.”
