With the recent announcement that Municipal Waste will perform The Art of Partying at Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest in 2026, I’ve been revisiting a lot of fun thrash classics. It’s fortuitous timing, then, that St. Petersburg, Florida thrashers Ramtha have a brand new song and music video, “Infinite Energy.”
The first cut from Ramtha’s to-be-announced third EP, “Infinite Energy” mixes upbeat thrash metal with bits of Florida death metal, progressive metal and hardcore punk. The accompanying music video, captured by Chuck Burns at True Colors Cinema, is a joint live performance and pool party, which adds to the party thrash vibes.
