Originally making its PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS debut in December, Erangel: Subzero now features intensified winter conditions across its entire map with stronger blizzards and whiteout effects reducing visibility.
Update 39.2 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS also brings with it Satellite Crash, a new Special Zone that replaces the Red Zone in Erangel: Subzero.
For those looking for the right tools for the job, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 39.2’s new Frost Zone Bomb creates a large freezing Blue Zone that can disrupt combat flow. Players can also utilize the Thermal Protection Suit, which mitigates Blue Zone damage and prevents freezing effects.
