Now available in Steam Early Access, the Pacific Northwest awaits this Friday with the release of Fairview Games and Sightline Games’ epic camping survival adventure The Gold River Project.
Providing a remote camping experience, The Gold River Project features a co-op adventure that kicks off after a chartered float plane drops one off by beautiful lakes.
From there, The Gold River Project lets players kayak, hike the gorgeous trails, make camp, and ultimately survive the elements.

David Parkes, Co-Founder and Lead Game Designer at Fairview Games, said the following:
“From the beginning, we wanted The Gold River Project to feel like a real camping trip with friends, one where you’re free to explore, slow down, and enjoy the wilderness, but where the environment can quickly remind you that survival isn’t guaranteed.
Early Access lets us build that experience alongside the community and shape the game into something deeper and more unpredictable over time.”
Additional content, systems, and polish are planned for The Gold River Project, leading into a full 1.0 launch.
