Featuring significant updates and new content, MercurySteam and 505 Games’ dark fantasy adventure Blades of Fire will release globally for Steam May 14.
Featuring combat is deliberate, weighty, and unforgiving (we said as much in our review), Blades of Fire follows Aran de Lira as he takes on the Queen Nerea.
The Steam release of Blades of Fire will include “Version 2.0” of the title, which features major updates and improvements that include New Game Plus, a new Titanium difficulty level, Elements Transmutation, and a Photo Mode.
Also included in Version 2.0 is the Adventurer Pack, the Artbook, and the award-winning original soundtrack by Óscar Araujo.

Note that Blades of Fire Version 2.0 content will release on May 14 as a free update across all platforms.
One can wishlist Blades of Fire via its official Steam page, and check out a demo as part of Steam Next Fest. Progress will carry over to the full release.
