Players will be able to embrace the darkness, seek vengeance, and summon the Goddess with the new Steam Next Fest demo for TLR Games and Joystick Ventures’ Runeomicon.
Taking control of the villain, Runeomicon will have players drawing ancient runes to generate arcane energy and summon six ancient gods.
However, each one in Runeomicon reshapes the ritual completely, bringing forth new curses, new defenses, and ultimately new ways to destroy the many villagers looking to stop the ritual.

Arturo Monedero, TLR Games, said the following:
“Everytime someone plays for the first time, they start yelling at the villagers, panicking while drawing the runes.
That is exactly what we wanted.
You are not the hero of this story and by the time the runes feel like muscle memory, you stop wanting to be.”
On that note, one can check out the Runeomicon demo via its official Steam page through March 2.
For those feeling social, be sure to follow the official Twiter/X, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube social media channels.
An official Discord server is also available for those that’d like to join the conversation.
