Longtime Morbus Chron drummer, Adam Lindmark, is back in action with his new outfit, a duo with Tobias Alpadie (guitars/bass), called Harrowed. The Swedish pair—Lindmark providing vocals—teamed up early in the decade, but are just now releasing their full-length debut, The Eternal Hunger, an eight-track explosion of prime punk-influenced Swedish DM, replete with a logo that looks awfully familiar… We’re giving you full access to the new album, which includes guest appearances from Nicke Andersson (Entombed, Death breath) and Scott Carlson (Repulsion, Death Breath).
The Eternal Hunger was produced by Harrowed and Robert Pehrsson (Death Breath, ex-Runemagick) in his Studio Humbucker during the summer of 2025. It’s set for release on CD, vinyl and digitally February 27 via Dying Victims Productions. Place your preorder here or here.
With great enthusiasm, Adam Lindmark described Harrowed’s full-length debut as such:
“The day has come when I sit and have The Eternal Hunger on vinyl LP in my hands. I have at times in the past been profound enough to think of every record that I participate on like somewhat of a headstone, but this time it feels even more special. Not only because death metal music and headstones go together like…well, death metal and headstones, but this is the first album I have made where I’m at the helm of the ship, and therefore have an extra reason to take pride in it.
I won’t put on any cloak of false modesty and say that the album came out better than I thought, but instead I’ll turn that into a bold statement and say that the album surpasses even my own very high standards and expectations. It’s death metal we’re dealing with here, so I hope you’re playing the album loud!”
