Bringing forth automation, game-changing map objects, and a visual overhaul, Version 1.0 of Mechanistry’s city-builder Timberborn is now available.
Featuring a post-apocalyptic world where Mankind has turned Earth into a dry, perished wasteland, Timberborn will task players with choosing from one of its beaver factions as they set out to see how long their colony can last.
As part of Timberborn’s 1.0 update, players will be able to take advantage of new post-apocalyptic objects on its new and updated maps.
Also included as part of this update is the highly anticipated automation feature, along with an overhaul of Timberborn’s in-game visuals.

The development team at Mechanistry said the following:
“We thank our amazing players for every hour they’ve spent in Timberborn, for all the feedback they’ve sent us over the years, and for all the great creations they’ve shared with the rest of the community.
It’s thanks to them that we could spend as much time in Early Access as we did, working our way towards Timberborn 1.0.
The full version of our game is a dream come true for us, and it exceeds anything we hoped for when we started working on it eight years ago.”
On that note, Timberborn is now available via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Game Store.
