Next-Gen Rhythm Game Sound System Launching October 16

Built for performance, competition, and community, Echo Foundry Interactive’s next-generation rhythm game Sound System will launch for the PC via Steam Early Access October 16.

Reviving the rhythm game genre, Sound System will pay host to intense gameplay, built-in creator tools, and a community platform perfect for artists and players alike to share music-driven creativity.

On that note, Sound System lets players shred guitar, play bass, or sing vocals using keyboard, controller, compatible guitar controllers (modern or legacy), or even a microphone (all USB mics and headsets are supported!).

Sound System also supports local split-screen and online modes, including co-op band performances with shared multipliers and effects. For those looking to throw down, Sound System also features head-to-head competitive modes for stage control battles. 

Keeping things unique, Sound System also goes its own way Fleetwood Mac-style with its PulseMap Editor – think “Mario Maker meets Guitar Hero!”
