A dynamic MMO featuring an always-on world, Klang Games’ SEED will transport players to Avesta in what is being called The Most Advanced Life Simulator ever made.
From community collusions to bread revolutions, we recently joined Klang Games CEO Mundi Vondi at GDC 2026 to talk all things SEED…
SEED Preview – A Dynamic MMO With Collaboration, Growth & Björk!
As a Seedling, SEED’s world of Avesta is one’s oyster. One can play exactly how they want throughout its persistent world, going their own way Fleetwood Mac-style.
On that note, don’t expect pre-determined quest givers – SEED prides itself on its world where anything – and we mean anything – is possible. As is with life, players will need to collaborate with others in SEED.
And everyone’s got a story to tell in SEED.
A title featuring years of development and history, Klang CEO Mundi Vondi has seen memes, mushroom houses, and countless organic happenstances in SEED – proving that no two journeys are the same.
“In games, we are manufacturers of emotions, right? We want to get your blood boiling, yeah?
When we’re navigating that space, we want to make sure that we don’t lose that relatability while still being futuristic.” – Mundi Vondi
Definitely a delicate balance, but this approach to SEED leads to an organic experience with some truly unique, story-worthy moments.
This leads to SEED’s aforementioned bread revolution story…
During SEED playtesting, there was a certain Seedling cornering the bread market – leading to a French (bread?) Revolution.
With this shorting of bread Gordon Gekko-style leading to insanely high bread prices throughout SEED’s economy, another Seedling said “no more” and carefully planted the seeds of this monopoly’s downfall.
So to speak.
From secret tasks to mass production lines, SEED made this vendetta a reality – and proved a point:
“Don’t mess with people’s bread.”
Sounds grandiose, right?
The massive world of SEED is full of stories like these just waiting to be told.
“We think this is probably one of the most complicated pieces of software ever made in gaming.” – Mundi Vondi
However, don’t feel like SEED – or bread monopolies – will lead to an inaccessible difficulty curve.
Sure, SEED is a complex title – one that gives players the tools they need to succeed – but it also lets players play their way.
With so many explorable options and collaboration opportunities, variety truly is the spice of life in SEED.
“Life has so many things to offer!
The life sim genre has really gone into this kind of rom-com place, but we want to really take the whole rainbow of life.
It has seriousness and disease, but it also has a lot more of the spectrum of life that we want to explore here and see.
Everybody can always contribute to society!” – Mundi Vondi
Fostering a strong sense of community, SEED’s dynamic MMO world of Avesta is looking to bring players together on a grand scale as we get through this thing called life.
