Open World RPG City Builder Airborne Empire Now Available in Steam Early Access

Indie studio The Wandering Band, together with Publisher Stray Fawn, have released their open world skyward RPG adventure Airborne Empire in Steam Early Access.

An open world RPG city builder. Airborne Empire sets out to challenge players as they build, manage, and grow their own unique city in the skies. 

Airborne Empire lets players traverse a vast and rich open world, one filled with dangers, exotic wonders, and (of course!) many hidden treasures. Tasks includie managing lift, balance, and propulsion needed for a flying city, along with contending with sky pirates.

We’re not joking; Airborne Empire pays host to full systems for building upgrades, fires, sickness, injuries, light, morale, and augmentation relics.

Airborne Empire can be purchased in Early Access via its official Steam page for $24.99. 

According to the development team, “Airborne Empire is planned to stay in Early Access for one year or longer.”

During the Early Access period, Airborne Empire will feature new building types, new biomes, new events/missions, and an expansion of the game’s background story.
