Mello Coming to DEATH NOTE Killer Within

The world of Bandai Namco’s online social deduction game DEATH NOTE Killer Within is getting even more interesting with the inclusion of Mello.

In this new DEATH NOTE Killer Within role, Mello will set out to do what it takes to eliminate Kira.

On that note, players will be able to eliminate suspicious players without the Death Note within their range. As a result, this will cause Mello’s victims to die from what would appear to be either a heart attack or shot, all with their actions disguised as Kira’s judgment. 

Note that Mello does not belong to Team Kira nor Team L, so DEATH NOTE Killer Within players will need to eliminate Kira before Kira judges L or L arrests Kira. 

Finally, if Mello arrests Kira or a Kira follower, the Death Note and IDs won’t be seized.
