A unique wellness app, Realize Music: Sing was founded by music and games industry vets Mike Wilson (Devolver, Deepwell) and Mark Roemer.

Mark Roemer, Realize Music co-founder and CEO, said the following:

“Music, for so many, can be seen as a safe space, a space to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with your inner-self, letting go of any tension and allowing the dopamine to flow.

We wanted to create an app that perfectly blends music into a form of wellness and that’s what you get with Realize Music: Sing. Users can sing their hearts out along with their favorite tunes and instantly feel the benefits in their body and their emotional state of mind.

You’re virtually transported into a world where you can be carefree, jamming out and actually learning the lyrics to your favorite songs as you go, and with an ever-expanding catalog of music, there will always be something new to explore.”

Note that in December, Realize Music announced strategic partnerships with both Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group.

Allan Coye, EVP, Global Head of Recorded Music Business Development, WMG, said the following:

“We believe that music has always been a bridge for self-expression, and this partnership with Realize Music amplifies that connection by providing an innovative experience that blends entertainment with self-care.

Together, we’re reshaping how fans experience music–turning it into a powerful tool for relaxation and personal expression–while creating unique opportunities for our artists to reach their fans in exciting new ways.”

Bryan Stone, UMG’s Senior Vice President, Business Development, also said the following:

“UMG has a long and successful track record of partnering with innovative new platforms in critical spaces with exciting potential, like health and wellness, so harnessing the power of music to foster health and wellness is a natural fit for us.

We hope that the Realize VR experience will improve people’s lives, offering a unique new aural experience to promote self-care while singing along with our artists.”

One can check out Realize Music: Sing via its official website. For a limited time, users will be able to subscribe to an introductory subscription price of $9.99 per month, or $99.99 annually.
