ZPF Getting Steam Next Fest Demo

Inspired by shmup hits like Lords of Thunder, Elemental Master, and the Thunderforce series, players will be able to take to the skies with the upcoming Steam Next Fest demo of Mega Cat Studios’ ZPF.

Available via its official Steam page starting Monday, the Steam Next Fest demo lets players choose between the Knight, Gladius, and Gold characters. Each one brings a unique playstyle, from spells of protection and offense to cybernetic upgrades.

The ZPF Steam Next Fest Demo will also feature three distinct realms, each packed with 16-bit effects and multiple layers of parallax scrolling – our favorite!

ZPF will soar onto the Sega Genesis this May, with the Steam, Switch, and Xbox One & Xbox X|S versions of the title releasing shortly afterward.
