Season 4 of The Red Barrels’ The Outlast Trials is here, bringing with it a New Trial Environment, an updated Rebirth system, new MK- Challenges & more.

In addition, Season 4 of The Outlast Trials also brings with it a revamp of the Rebirth system. The system now provides offers two different paths: the original Rebirth for solo players, and Communal Rebirth, newly designed for team play.
The new Rebirth also drops the players in a random Trial with 3 unique variators:
The Mirror Variator, which shifts perspective for all Trials
The Rebirth Variator, where each player must complete two secondary objectives on top of the regular Trial objective
The Classified Variator, randomized to force Reagents to adapt or die.
