A nostalgic JRPG love letter to the Game Boy Color era, Exquisite Laundry Pet and Mega Cat Studios’ Gumball in Trick-or-Treat Land is set to launch for Steam – and physically for the Game Boy Color! – next year.
Developed by Adam Lewis Graf, Gumball in Trick-Or-Treat Land takes cues from old-school RPGs like Earthbound, Undertale, and the classic Game Boy Color adventures of the late 90s we’ve come to know and love.
In this title, players will guide the titular and intrepid Gumball through a quirky Halloween-themed world as they meet colorful companions, brew potions, solve puzzles, and face menacing munchies through its turn-based battle system.
