Set to be held from October 3 to 13, Tactic Studio, TBS Games, and Square Enix are gearing up to kick off the second Closed Beta Test for their murder mystery action title KILLER INN.
Taking collected feedback from the first KILLER INN Closed Beta Test into consideration, the development team has implemented a number of changes that will be reflected in the second Closed Beta Test.
For instance, KILLER INN’s Safe Zone (below) gives players the chance to be completely invulnerable for 30 seconds. In addition, players that retaliate against a player who attacks them first will not be turned to stone with a Bad Guess Penalty, should the other player be a Lamb.
Helping the user experience, KILLER INN players can now host custom lobbies, or can alternatively join those hosted by other players. A new Training Mode in Alpha has been included, and players can now set skins to change the appearance of your character – each character will have one skin available as part of the Closed Beta Test.
A number of balancing updates have been made to KILLER INN, including Doubling players’ base HP, rebalancing gear, and also a greater delay between melee attacks.
Finally, quality of life improvements have been made to KILLER INN, including remappable controls, an Elimination Screen that shows who killed you and how, improved UI readability , and a player report feature.
Coinciding with next week’s Tokyo Game Show event, a special KILLER INN TGS broadcast is set to air September 26 at 6:30pm PT that will reveal more information about this Closed Beta Test.
