Video Premiere: DEATHFUCKINGWOUND – “Visceral Chaos Agitation”

Let us introduce you to a band, DEATHFUCKINGWOUND, that just came into existence in August of this year. The mysterious grindcore duo have purposely obscured their identities, but we have sussed out that they are Finnish. The pair went from forming to recording the six songs on their upcoming EP, Void MMXXVV, in just a few weeks. That’s some fresh metal. Somewhere along the way—probably last week—they filmed this video for lead track, “Visceral Chaos Agitation,” which pretty much sums up the overall musical approach. In this B&W video, we see DWF dealing out the chaos dressed in what look like hooded rain ponchos, even though they seem to be inside. Whatever. The Two-minute blast of “Visceral Chaos Agitation” feels like getting hit by a typhoon, so maybe that’s the connection.

Void MMXXV is set for release on CD, cassette and digitally via Iron Corpse on October 7. You can place your preorder either here or here.

The duo had this to say about its first single:

“DEATHFUCKINGWOUND came into existence swiftly and with no questions asked in a cut-the-bullshit-and-go fashion, so it’s only apt that the lead single also emphasizes that exact sentiment. ‘Visceral Chaos Agitation’ encapsulates the sextet of songs quite well, offering a proper glimpse to our craft without giving everything away. That said, the remainder of the release isn’t exactly smooth jazz either.”
