The Legend of Khiimori Preview
13th century Mongolia – and its rich lands – are just waiting to be explored in The Legend of Khiimori.
Stepping into the shoes of a young courier rider, its vast landscape is packed with forests, lakes, fields, and even scorching deserts.
You name it, Mongolia has it – all powered by Unreal Engine 5.
On that note, The Legend of Khiimori lets players bring along a trusty steed for the ride. The development team at Aesir Interactive has a rich history building horse experiences, tapping into more than a decade of excellence to do these equines proud.
Different horses have different traits, and one can utilize The Legend of Khiimori’s breeding system to ensure increased generational capabilities.
They are family, after all!
No matter which horse (and subsequent personality) one chooses, The Legend of Khiimori tasks players with training it, caring for its different needs, and unleashing its full potential.
However, one must also survive throughout The Legend of Khiimori’s untamed Mongolian wilderness.
To do so, players will set out to forage and hunt for different supplies and materials as they mix food and tonics for one’s horse. Planing one’s route is critical, as one will need to avoid damaging cargo or endangering one’s steed.
However, those that take on The Legend of Khiimori’s challenge will be rewarded with various activities as they truly thrive.
Not only will players set out to deliver packages and cargo, they will also be able to take on quests, master their riding, and even utilize keen archery skills.
The untamed Mongolian wilderness of The Legend of Khiimori is gearing up to provide a grand adventure for all brave couriers when it launches in Early Access next month.
The Legend of Khiimori will come out for the PC via Steam Early Access on November 4 – one can wishlist the title via its official Steam page.
A Steam Next Fest demo for The Legend of Khiimori will also be available from October 13 to October 20 via its official Steam page.
Note that The Legend of Khiimori is also slated to release for the PC via the Epic Games Store and via the PlayStation Store.
